Dolly Drives aims to share the restoration of Dolly the Nissan Fiagaro and her travels around North Wales - maybe into Cheshire too!

Dolly is a Nissan Figaro.  The Figaro was made for the Japanese market so Dolly was imported to the UK in 2002.  There were only 20,000 Figaros made, in four original colours to represent the four seasons - Topaz Mist (autumn), Emerald Green (spring), Pale Aqua (summer) and Lapis Grey (winter).  They were produced for one year only from February 1991.  They were made at Nissan's Pike factory, a special project.

With a 1.0 litre engine, automatic gear box and a top speed of 106 mph (umm not our Dolly!), the Figaro is  a unique little car with a 1950s look inside and out.  It features a retro style design on both the interior and exterior with all that lovely chrome and leather seating.

Although based on the first generation Micra, the Figaro is in a class of its own, a special little happy car.
